Thank you to everybody for putting in effort for Dramanite'o7 as well as those who paid money to support our vjc arts scene. You are truly appreciated =)

Faces cast, i love the final run i really do and i truly love you guys (hmm or most of you anyway) very very much! Im glad youve put in your best and you were so wonderfully professionally good on the night itself. I swear you wowed the crowd and me =) Ethel, you have improved leaps and bounds when i saw tt you still hadnt done everything we'd reminded you to on thurs i was a bit worried but watching you on friday i saw how you did EVERYTHING with conviction. And i applaud you for listening to your directors and doing so well and im terribly proud of you! Yvonne you were self-concious at first but im glad you listened to me and pulled off Janey in the end. I can tell you are very serious about your role becoz of how youd ask me if you didnt know anything or how to improve something. You did well on friday and its proof of how good an actress you were. Saira you didnt do very well at the auditions but we believed in you. Im glad we did coz you were impressive and your facial expressions were wonderful thumbs up to you. Kevin you were consistent all the while and im really impressed by how you made time to come for rehearsals even while you were busy with studies and SC. And yes im really happy with your performance on friday. Daryl you have indeed come a long way from 6 weeks ago but theres definitely lots of room for improvement. I wish you well in your acting career and may you learn more from your future directors. Charlotte you held the production together! You had the audience eating outta your hand and you held their rapturous attn during whenever you had a scene. This is proof of your acting talent and im very proud of having you on my cast =) Marion we all knew you could act from the start but on friday you were really impressed all of us. Im really proud tt you did let go and showed all the fear even though you were sick. I really believed you on friday and everyone else did too.

Oedi cast, i may not be your main director but yes i think you guys have gone a long way esp Daniel. So im really proud to have worked with you guys and i could feel how you guys just had fun on stage on friday. It was wonderful agn to see the acting talent of Mathew and Ahnaf you guys were just hilarious. And i was pleasantly surprised to see Daniel and Debbie and you guys rly do have oodles of chemistry. Well done you have really improved! =)

Alistair, thank you really for handling all the finances and ticketing stuff so well coz i know how frustrating it must be when nobody turns up to collect tickets. So thank you for being so patient and thank you for your endless supply of cash! Without you id be really broke so i can imagine the poverty youre living in now man x)

Mark, THANK GOODNESS for my super efficient vice-pres! Haha seriously i dunnoe how i would have handled ganesh and jacq's jobs if you werent around. So thank you thank you for listening to me bitch about imcompetence and irresponsibility and also getting things done at times when im so sian of handling all the dramanite stuff! I really wish you well for next year and rest assured ill be dropping by as often as i can for drama sessions!

Phoebe hahahahaha oh my we have experienced so much so much during this couple of months preparations for dramanite. All the late night dinners and rehearsals, bitching sessions about things, discussions about blockings, all my pmses and all the funny jokes. Im definitely gonna miss all the times we have spent together and yes i miss them already! Promise me you will come back to visit drama and help our for SYF and youd better tell me when you do coz we seriously are the best pair of directors x)

Nat i HAVE to thank you really for all the last minute "Nat go PT to move things" and for the teapot (it has a prominent feature in the dramanite photos ;p) and for being drama slave for the past couple of months lol although i stress agn you didnt really have to help me carry things you could have just said no. And im very happy tt you took to your crew post so well, participated so enthu-ly, made rly constructive criticism for faces and took initiative to make friends xD so yeah sorry again about the teapot. Will make it up to you for tt man and thanks agn.

Everyone who bought a ticket yeay!!! Thank you for being so supportive and for all the encouraging comments! I love the flower xD and im really glad you guys had a good time at this yrs dramanite.

Dramanite 'o7

OKAY i feel like a goddamn retard coz ive been blogging in my OG blog for the past couple of posts instead of my own... So i decided to repost this one which i posted at an insanely late/early timing on the 26th april, the day before dramanite. See mark, i did update.. Just in the wrong place hah!

"I feel extremely proud that we could manage to accomplish all this in a mere 6 weeks. Effectively all proper rehearsals only took place in term 2 week 1, so to see the final product makes me extremely happy.

All the late nights, running around doing last minute things, moving of dusty heavy tiers, 100dollar handphone bills from sending too many smses, the nitty-gritty details, EVERYTHING that ive done for drama, watching the final run made it all worth it.

Except for one thing. We shouldn't have broken Nat's teapot. Still feel terribly guilty about it. NAT IF YOURE READING THIS, im really really very very sorry about the teapot. Cannot apologise enough after seeing the look on your face when you saw the chipped off bit.

Anyhoots it feels great to see crew work so hard and be so committed to dramanite'07 really heart-warming to know that someone is working as hard as you are. Somehow i cant say the same for some people xD

So this is how it feels to be president and be instrumental in organising the event and finally watching it take shape.

May tomorrow be a huge success and may it be a night to remember! =)"

Good evening to you too. I happen to believe in the term learning on the job. Fair enough i do not have the expertise in computer know how and im not the most committed member in the library council. But it is not in your place to criticise the rest of the exco for jobs that you deem to be not well done or as you put it, not done at all. YOU WANT SHELF SUBJECT LABELS ILL GIVE YOU SHELF SUBJECT LABELS.

I take offense at some of the sentences that you mentioned in your post. I would like to, in a very civil manner, rebuke several of your points. Merely doing this in a hot tempered rachel kinda way.

Firstly, if the workload is piling up and you are wondering where the "heck" the rest of the exco is, then open your mouth and ask dammit. Thats why the names in the exco list are not all Ang Si Min. You complain that nobody is helping you. Then you turn around and say you dont trust anybody to do anything and youre the only one who's capable. Then thats your own fucking problem. You can only blame yourself for tiring yourself out silly. The exco are sposed to be team players, they hafta work together and open up the communication channels. Somehow you dont bother, and after a while, everybody stops trying as well. We leave you to do whatever you want. Coz even if we told you that there were plans for camp and there are plans for the cca, you wouldnt believe us anyway. So there you go. Youre welcome to claim all the work and the credit for yourself. The rest of the exco will just wander the heck outta your way and have a separate set of plans.

Secondly, who has offered you excuses? We dont all answer to you. We answer to Felicia, to Miss Vidya, to Mdm Habsah and to Mdm Lim. Its within your job scope to answer to the users of the library. Not everybody memorises the rules of the library and not everybody understands how the library works. So what? Let them complain abt the air con and the water bottles and whatnot. They dont know where the books are? Just direct them politely to where they can go. EXCUSE ME, these ppl did not come to VJC without brains. Just give them simple instructions to the shelves and voila theyll never bother you again. Yeah just keep following your rule that other humans are all stupid and theyll amaze you with their basic mental capabilities. So much for all your talk abt service. Why complain abt dealing with these ppl when service means so much to you? Since these ppl dont know well enough, teach them tell them and educate them. Oh but maybe thats abit too much for your busy and hectic schedule.

Thirdly, i take responsibility for the shelf subject labels. Yes so i know that theyre not done yet but trust me i have a reason for it thats not an excuse. Who am i kidding? Everything i say is gonna be an excuse coz you think i dont have the basic capabilities to do anything right? Yes i turn in crappy work all the time because im too dumb to do chickenfeed work. If any more ppl come up to you and complain about not being able to find books then you can refer them to me and ill communicate with them in ape langauge. Youll have to forgive me for the lack of linguistic skills. So i shall just take the fall for this. Let you turn in your beautiful work and complain abt my incompetence to Miss Vidya so that she will give me a lousy testimonial and you a sparkling one. Look, if you told me face to face whatever you wanted to say abt the shelf subject labels i wouldve listened to you. But when you bitch about this on your blog and not say anything, how does this show your initiative as a leader? This one is personal and if you think ill let this slide, youve got another think coming.

Fourthly, thank you so much for having so much faith in the library camp. If you had so much doubts, why did you not ask Felicia YOURSELF?!?!? Hmm.. Instead you asked around and talked about how you have recieved no details about the camp and how nobody is doing it. And you probably thought about how poor you will have to bear the burden of organising the whole camp. But hey bet you didnt realise that some members of the human race HAVE brains! (oh but not me though, never possibly me) And it must have surprised you that Felicia already had activities planned, like zomg!!! So seriously, you should just shut up abt how nobody had the foresight to plan anything. Hey you know in fact, i dont even recall you coming up with a plan for library camp that you ran past the exco members. Oh but maybe i was just being super irresponsible and not listening to your ideas. And even though i asked Felicia for the plan and smsed it to you, i am still a "pointless brainless idiot". Again, did any other idiots see the point of how you didnt ask her directly? Wanna know why you were somehow left outta the loop? READ POINT ONE ABOVE.

Yes this will probably go to Miss Vidya and she will hear all abt this entire blog post. Yes she will not be happy with me and will probably not write a testimonial for me. But if you think im in this just for the testimonial you can go read a book (that is a euphemism). Stay angry, stay aggravated and stay in the past abt how wonderful TK library was while the rest of the exco spend the time before our alevels working TOGETHER =)

Hah it is so hopelessly childish and immature to catfight xD but i likeee....
